Ongoing EXTRA CREDIT ASSIGNMENTS: 
[1]  for an extra project grade: go with family/friends to see an art exhibit at any area museum/gallery.  Write an experiential essay (2 page min) and present to class.  See me if you need ideas;  choose from my suggested Galleries/Museums page, or check out upcoming shows from the NYTIMES.

Concentration Portfolio: Reflection, due 2/19
On the heels of our studio discussions last week - please complete your reflection assignment by the end of this week.

Sketchbook Review & Critique in-class Friday/Monday, October 16th & 19h
Sketchbook work is part of your ONGOING art practice - stimulating your studio work and creative progress.  Along with our in-class Critique - scheduled for October 16/19 - we will review your sketchbook work at that time.  
**Following your critique, the assignment will be to reflection on your progress toward completion of the Concentration Portfolio, refining your focus if necessary based on experience to-date.  I will provide/share on GoogleDrive prompts to respond to, due: Saturday morning, 10/24 by 11am.

Reminder:  Due Friday morning 9/18 (by Advisory period)
Your completed first written REFLECTION/ASSESSMENT of the school year.

Over the holiday weekend            
Reminder:  not an assignment this week, but in preparation for our scheduled individual meetings Wednesday/Thursday/Friday - be prepared to present your BREADTH PORTFOLIO to me, both the online/photographed work from last year(s) and what you completed during the summer months.  This next week is DROP/ADD week, so at this meeting we will assess/determine whether the AP or Honors track is appropriate - given your particular artistic process as well as commitments/obligations outside of the art studio.   Email me in advance if you have any questions or concerns.
